Lambertville Porchfest

Schedule

Rest rooms are available at in the parking lot next to 12 N. Union Street and 3 Station Ct, or by patronizing one of our local restaurants. Porch hosts are not obligated to provide rest rooms.

Noon

Bill and Fred’s Excellent Adventure

Well-known local act, Spitune, in "duo" formation playing both covers and originals. Both weird/gnarly and sublime. They have also been described as a comedy act. Technically not true, but when these dudes get going the comedy just kind of happens. As a matter of fact, you never know what's going to happen.

Obscure hits and deep cuts played on ukulele. You'll be like, "That song's familiar. Who sings that again?"

60 Elm Street

Kitty City

Soulful and groovy, it's a great choice for all occasions. This is modern rock (think Black Keys, Heartless Bastards) brined in blues and dusted with psychedelia. Krysta Kowalchik's vocals pierce through a heavy rhythm section, while Jim White's vintage keyboard sounds add thickness and vibe.

57 Buttonwood Street

The Brooks Brothers Blues Band

Chris Zaic – Guitar/Vocals: Many people have learned to play music, but few are blessed with the gift of natural talent. Chris’s second language (one spoken through fingers on a fretboard) has matured over the years to a level that is understood and enjoyed anywhere. He has a history of playing with Sonny Rhode, Lonnie Shields, Phil Woods, Blackfoot and many others. One can hear these experiences reflected in his playing to this day along with Donald Brooks - BASS and Bobby Lewis - DRUMS. Traditional and progressive strains of the blues, with a mixture of originals and covers.

I Think Like Midnight

Future instrumentals for your now. This instrumental rock band was formed by longtime devotees of the lost art of the succinct rock instrumental. Begun as a recording project, guitarist/songwriter Andrew Chalfen (The Trolleyvox, The Wishniaks, Gimme) and drummer Dean Clean Sabatino (The Dead Milkmen, Baby Flamehead) were so pleased with the results that they decided to release the material and put together a full band, recruiting bassist Josh Newman (American Altitude, The Silver Ages, Heyward Howkins Band) and keyboardist Joe Genaro (The Dead Milkmen, Butterfly Joe, Low Budgets).

48 Coryell Street

Those Looks

Those Looks play their brand of indie pop slow, smooth and cool, as they demonstrated on their debut EP "come unto me,” self-released last year. With the velvety vocals of singer Kelly Bolding giving space to the liquid lines of guitarist Sylvia Barrantes, the leading ladies of Those Looks coast gently over the shaggy rhythms of drummer Shaun Ellis and bassist Randall Newman for a sound that's all soul, no frills. This is "velvet wave" from the wilds of New Jersey.

Local legend who keeps amazing audiences. Lambertville Porchfest would not be complete without the original porch player, J.B. Kline, who says "I'd rather squeeze a pound of soul into 1 note, than to play 250 notes! You’ve gotta feel it or it don’t mean nothin’ at all.” As anyone who’s been to one of his performances can tell you, J.B. Kline definitely “feels it” when he is singing and playing his guitar -- and you will feel it too!
